DESCRIPTION

THE LOCATION
The town is a beautiful centre of medieval origin located in the northern part of the island, precisely in the geographical area known as Gallura. Surrounded by beautiful hills, Luogosanto is characterised by the use of granite in the construction of dwellings and for paving the streets; the inhabitants number about 1,800.
THE CIRCONDENTARY
Of great interest are the numerous churches (12), including the hermitage of San Trano and San Niccolò, and the castles of Balaiana (1050 A.D.) and Baldu, which are located close to the village; the village is also known for the quality of its water (the Filetta water is excellent), festivals and sacred events.

Olbia with its port and international airport 48 km away.
